Abraham "Bram" Stoker was born in Clontarf in Dublin on 8 November 1847 and died in London on 20 April 1912. He was an Irish novelist and short story writer, who worked as the personal assistant of actor Henry Irving and business manager of the Lyceum Theatre in London, which Irving owned.
