Ebug: The craziest rule in sports (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798277008751)

A story about a man, his family, and the craziest rule in sports...

What if I told you there's a way for a "regular Joe" like you or any other you know, with a regular job and a regular life, to suddenly be able to get to play in a real live professional hockey game?

And not some minor-league exhibition either ... but a top-tier in-season contest ...

... alongside and against the best athletes in the word ... in front of tens of thousands of screaming fans, with millions more watching on TV ...

You'd say it's impossible, right? Wouldn't happen - couldn't happen. It'd be insane!

Well, I'm here to tell you that - while it is very unlikely - it isn't impossible at all. In fact, it's something that's actually happened in reality several times.

Because the EBUG (Emergency Back-Up Goalie) rule not only allows for it, it's designed for it. Crazy, right?

EBUG (The craziest rule in sports) is a short fictional novel (a.k.a. a novella) about one such regular guy:

Things haven't been going well for ex-scholastic-star player Vincent Perdente the last several years. He loves his family, but the daily drudgery of life has beaten him down for so long, he feels lost even in the places he belongs: at home, at work, and even his local rec "beer league" team.

But just when it feels like he's at his lowest, an opportunity comes along that blindsides him - and it thrusts him to the precipice of the highest level of the game he's always loved, and gives him a second chance at the dreams he'd thought long ago passed him by.

Yes, it's really a rule. And it changes Vince's life in ways he never thought imaginable.

Join Vince, someone with a regular life just like you, on this incredible journey of transformation, inspiration and flat-out fun.
