Echelon's End: PlanetStrike 2: Fallen Crown (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798372838789)

This is a story about war in all its ugly horror and of all the small tales of state sanctioned brutality, the outcome of death, destruction, and suffering in order to achieve a political objective unobtainable through diplomatic means. It is a contest of wills settled through extreme violence where devastation is the rule, not the exception, based on a crude and cruel calculus where success usually relied upon the ability to both inflict and sustain greater fatalities than the opposition.

PlanetStrike 2 continues to tell of enduring features of friction, chaos, and chance; all of which led to uncertainty, and none of which were natural allies of the delivery of precise violence or predictable outcomes, which seemed increasingly to be what a dystopic saurian society, and in turn, its policy-makers expected.

Heir-Apparent Malik Heruli Constans-le had to decide who to trust as the fate of the Tauron Empire hung in the balance. On the eve of its first heir-apparent appointment in a century, the Imperium found its future endangered by its past. Even as Ba'al Sirdar Jam Aequalitatem-le stood trial for his crimes, vestiges of his imperial ambitions threatened to undermine the empire's expansion hopes.

Whenever enemies aboard are eliminated, enemies within emerge.
