ASHOK MALHOTRA was born in Lahore. He moved from Lahore to New Delhi in 1947 at the time of the partition of India and creation of Pakistan. The book is inspired by some of his own memories; some memories that belong to others, and some memories that have been plucked from the Celestial Sphere.
