Edelweiss: a poetry anthology (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798281087803)

The alpine flower, Leontopodium nivale, stands for the resilience and courage, we discover and learn to love when agony governs the land.

Lisa Mair's second book, Edelweiss, is a poetry collection, every soul can find herself in.

Where love can be striking like a match that lights up our souls and every cell of our bodies.

Where devotion can become intense and suffocate us, leaving us breathlessly in love.

Where trust can become huntingly dangerous, when handed over too easily and pain becomes unbearable so that we have to seek shelter, far away from our hearts.

Sometimes we have to hide from the worst part of the pain until we're ready to reclaim it and call it wisdom.

To remain and stay frozen through the deepest winter when despair tries to steal the last remnants of our vitality, to make it through and ultimately tell Spring's colorful blossoms of the harsh winds and chill of the nights, we were able to withstand.
