My name is Yvonka Lyons. I was born in Nashville, Tennessee and raised in John Henry Hale Housing Projects. A place sometimes looked upon as no way out. Well, it's amazing how God can take nothing and mold it into piece of work for His Kingdom. Growing up I never thought I would write a book but with Jesus anything is possible. While traveling life's journey I've come to trust the Lord more. A wise woman once shared with me a very profound statement "Don't talk about your problems pray about them", I tried it and it work. I recommend it to you. I can say with confidence that God can fix any situation. I hope in sharing my personal experiences with you through poetry, you become inspired and/or motivated to do something you never thought you could do. The Lord will give you the victory over every obstacle in your life. Dreams really do come true.
