Emotions of Normal People (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781025634197)

"Emotions of Normal People" is a seminal work in the field of behavioral psychology that explores the fundamental mechanisms behind human emotion and behavior. Written by William Moulton Marston, the visionary psychologist and creator of the DISC assessment, this book challenges traditional views of mental health by focusing on the "normal" range of human interaction rather than pathology. Marston introduces his groundbreaking theory that human behavior is driven by four primary emotional responses: Dominance, Inducement, Submission, and Compliance.

Throughout the text, Marston delves into the physiological and psychological origins of emotion, arguing that understanding these patterns is key to achieving personal harmony and social effectiveness. By examining how individuals interact with their environments and each other, he provides a framework for analyzing personality and motivation that remains influential in modern organizational psychology and personal development. This foundational volume offers deep insights into the complexities of the human psyche, presenting a systematic approach to emotional consciousness. "Emotions of Normal People" remains an essential read for students of psychology, leadership, and human behavior, offering a timeless perspective on how we perceive and respond to the world around us.
