Emp: Sundown: A Post-Apocalyptic EMP Survival Thriller (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798190532869)

Nine months after the lights died, Jack Harper is twenty-three years old, living in a steel shed with his best friend Tobias, counting cans and staying invisible.

Then Tobias is murdered in a burned yard by a man named Jedediah Steele, and Jack watches all of it from two hundred and twenty yards away through the scope of a rifle he cannot fire.

He walks out of that field with a vow and nothing else.

What he finds is Sundown: ninety-one people behind a wall of school buses, led by Jeff Sanderson and his wife Moirka, who takes one look at Jack and tells him the truth nobody wants to hear. Revenge is a splint. Leave it on too long and the muscle underneath dies.

But Steele is coming. He has fifty men, nine trucks, and a pistol he calls his instrument of execution. And he has a date.

A brutal, human survival thriller about grief, the arithmetic of survival, and what a man becomes when he finally gets what he swore to get.
