One Perfect Storm. Two Lost Treasures. Three Amazing Discoveries.

What do a boy, a dog, a bird, and a middle school principal have in common? The quest for treasure, of course!

Empty Pockets is the first book in the series Feathers, Treasures & Sandy Paws-a vibrant collection of toe-tickling, knee-knocking, nail-biting tales of discovery, history, and light fantasy adventures. Follow Jack and his friends on their many escapades in the seaside village of Hansford Landing where anything can happen and often does. The entertaining antics of the pets are paws-itively, claws-itively hilarious and will have readers wondering who's in charge.

Eleven-year-old Jack Cooper, a poor grocer's son, works hard and helps those in need. When a raging storm delivers a mysterious treasure into his fishing net, he must choose between searching for its rightful owner or accepting a tempting offer. He could use the cash for so many things but, with best friends to share adventures, he doesn't let his Empty Pockets get him down. When Jack's hope of finding his own lost treasure begins to fade, the sea reveals a secret convincing him there might be more to those old maritime myths than he thought.

Empty Pockets is the kick-off to a heartwarming series sure to deliver the good kind of goosebumps.
