Attracting the very wealthy and most pathetic souls roaming campus seeking direction and guidance is her specialty. Only she can glorify the cult to such an extent that so many of the unfortunate flock to speak to her. Preying on the depth of their despair, she captivates their attention and offers them an alternative to their miserable lives.Smothered by their parents' influence, Nick Carmelli, Karen Landom and Phoebe Stiles seek to escape their chaotic lives and, in time, encounter the energetic and quite charismatic, Sister Malcedonia. Solitude and serenity replace the frantic world of the wealthy elite the three college students must face daily. The Church of the Enlightened Ones of the Spirit presents a tranquility in which the three confused students can discover their true desires and attain a clearer understanding to what life and the afterlife have in store for them. All of them enter the church willingly but all soon learn the dreadful mistake they've made as the door to the outside world closes behind them. Now, only the families they've shunned can rescue them from the hands of criminal leaders holding them captive in the Holy Sanctuary.'Enlightened Deception' is a crime thriller that combines the struggle for admittance in a multi-dimensional afterworld with a self-serving, bizarre hypnotism to form the religious environment which captures the attention of desperate college students. Unveiling the truth behind three young lives plagued with traumatic obstacles, this story culminates as they discover the truth behind the cult. Once the three realize their peril, they plot to leave the confines of the Holy Sanctuary of the Enlightened Ones. The ensuing rescue and escape mesmerize the reader and allow very little time to catch his breath.
