xThis year, my husband Patrick and I will be married twenty-five years. He's been my best friend and my encouragement throughout the years. In 2010, I was suddenly diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. Through much sorrow and pain, sometimes I think this is the best thing to happen to me. It took me to my knees, sometimes literally, causing me to reach out for something I had taken for granted.
