In the rarefied world of elite New York City law firms, "making partner" is the proverbial brass ring - but only after eight or nine years of total immersion, torturous hours, and unrelieved stress. Enter Your Time tells the story of a talented but irreverent young lawyer who, in the furious ten weeks before the partnership vote, runs ragged for that glittering prize while office intrigues, rival associates, unexpected romance, and his own ambivalence tug at his heels and hurl the odd, well-aimed tomato. Interwoven with the story are larger themes which, in the higher reaches of the American legal profession, are increasingly in play: partner compensation; aggressive competition for legal talent and "new business"; and the burgeoning #MeToo movement.
