Evolution: An Investigation and a Criticism (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781025648651)

"Evolution: An Investigation and a Criticism" is a detailed examination of the evolutionary theory through both a scientific and theological lens. Written by Th. Graebner, this work serves as a comprehensive critique of Darwinian principles and their implications for the Christian faith. The book meticulously analyzes the biological and philosophical claims of evolution, questioning the evidentiary basis of the theory while highlighting the perceived contradictions between materialist science and scriptural doctrine.

Graebner's approach combines rigorous intellectual inquiry with a steadfast commitment to traditional religious perspectives. He addresses key topics such as the origin of species, the fossil record, and the moral consequences of evolutionary thought. By presenting a structured argument against the prevailing scientific consensus of the early 20th century, the author provides readers with a significant example of religious apologetics and the ongoing dialogue between faith and reason.

This work remains a valuable historical document for those interested in the history of science, the development of creationist thought, and the cultural tensions surrounding the acceptance of evolutionary biology. "Evolution: An Investigation and a Criticism" offers a profound look at the arguments that shaped a pivotal era of intellectual and spiritual debate.
