R.E. Clark currently serves as the associational missionary for the Northwest Baptist Association in Bentonville, AR. He has ministered to these 69 churches, missions, and ministry points for the past 15 years. He earned his doctorate in ministry from the Southern Baptist Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

He brings to his writing style the experiences of over 33 years of ministry as a pastor and missions leader. In addition to nearly four decades of preaching and teaching, he has either led or participated in mission trips to Mexico, Nigeria, Haiti, Bosnia, Kenya, Brazil, China, Malaysia, and the Dominican Republic.

Expecting Revival was first released in 1993 under the title, The T.E.A.M. Concept of Revival Preparation. The book was written directly as a result of the author's experiences as he created the first revival teams among the members of First Baptist Church in Livingston, LA.

He is the author of two devotionals:
Glasses in the Grass: Devotions For My Friends and Life Is Not A Snapshot: It's A Mosaic

He is writing a four-part Bible study series. Book 1 is already in print-God's Leading: Seven Ways to Know God Is Leading You. Book 2 will be released soon and is titled, God's Designing: Six Evidences For the Christian Life
