Ann Varnum has hosted WTVY's talk shows since 1974 and presently does early morning news features, The Ann Varnum show on Saturday and Sunday Morning with Ann Varnum each Sunday. She writes a devotional column for The Dothan Eagle, the column "From the Heart of Dothan" for the Dothan Magazine, is a featured writer for the Wiregrass Living Magazine and does "Digging for Treasure" each week day on 91.7 American Family Radio. Ann is married to Jerome Varnum and the couple has three married children and five grandchildren. They are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Dothan where Ann teaches an Intercessory Prayer Class on Wednesday nights. Ann is a graduate of Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama and did her graduate work at Auburn University. She is a free-lance writer who has been published often nationally and enjoys inspirational speaking. She has Co-Authored two cookbooks (with her sister Martha Lavallet) the Field O' Dreams Farm Cookbook Volume I and II. And has written her television memoirs "Sunny Side Up, An Inside Look at Early Morning TV".
