These stories - some light and some dark - were written over several years. A few, such as Henry's Box, were the result of writing prompts from one of my writing groups, Basildon Writers, while others were sparked by random sights, such as someone's tattoo, or by snatches of overheard conversation. As for the rest, I can't recall any particular event triggering them, so can only conclude the initial idea popped into my head when I wasn't paying attention. And sometimes I find those sort of stories turn out to be the strangest of them all.
