Fran輟is Vigneault is a cartoonist and illustrator born in the United States to Haitian and French-Canadian parents. He is the co-creator of the YA graphic novel 13e Avenue published by ﾉditions de la Past鑷ue in 2018 and the comic book series Orcs in Space from Oni Press (2021--22). His relatively small body of work has been nominated for a surprising number of awards (including the the Joe Shuster Award and the B馘駘ys Qu饕ec Award) and has even won a few of them, including the inaugural Qu饕ec Bookseller's Prize for best youth graphic novel. He started wearing glasses when he was 12 years old. He grew up in San Diego, California and lived in San Francisco and Portland, Oregon before landing in Qu饕ec in 2015, where he has lived ever since.
