False Dawn: The Battle Is over the Souls (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798997785802)

Kate has spent years following signs most people would dismiss: visions, symbols, and warnings. Over time, the guidance has become impossible to ignore. When she is led to a desert gathering beneath the jagged peaks of the Superstition Mountains, she knows there is a reason she is meant to be there.

Stellar Call Outreach promises a place on the "transition team." Claiming humanity is ready for communication with advanced extraterrestrial beings who want to help Earth move into a higher stage of evolution. But from the moment Kate arrives, she really wants to leave. Only a mysterious crow, appearing in the road before vanishing without a trace, urges her to stay.

Out of place among UFO believers drawn by the promise of contact, Kate is relieved when the evening seems to be nothing more than odd theatrics. Chants and laser pointers excite the crowd as they wait expectantly, looking toward the sky.

What answers the call is something far more deceptive than alien contact. Kate is forced to call on Archangel Michael as the group falls prey to the language of ascension, turning them into willing hosts. Then she is shown something no human has ever seen: a hidden danger older than humanity's longing for the stars.

A False Dawn awaits.

The Battle Over the Souls has already begun.
