Far From The Tree (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781503153288)

Gladys Mwaniki works for Texas Legislative Council as a document receiving and processing specialist. She had a life-long interest in writing and decided to pursue her passion by taking writing courses and thoroughly enjoyed each class. She would like her writing to reach out and touch a heart, give faith to a devout worker, or bring light to a downsized worker in despair. She would like to encourage women who have been abandoned or abused to never give up despite the challenges. One thing that remains constant is her faith, which makes all things possible through patience and endurance. Gladys and her husband live in Austin, Texas. They worship at All Nations Church where they serve in various ministries. They've recently launched Elimu Community Enterprises, a non-profit organization whose aim is to rebuild hope for underprivileged children in Kilifi, Kenya, and beyond. Their goal is to return to Kenya and eventually establish a community center and a library. That way no child is left behind.
