Marian Carstairs was finally going on a vacation. Brian Mason moved slowly through the door and stared at the woman blocking his path. He knew he should move aside but was spellbound and he didn't know why. He couldn't put an age to her but she looked to be at least in her late forties.

Mrs. Meghan watched as Marian and Brian stared at each other and felt hope in her heart. If anyone needed someone, it was these two.
