Author's Bio My giving name is: Vanessa Lee Thompson. I do want to write under Vanney, but decided to use: Vanessa "Vanney" Thompson. I decided to use the giving name because it would credit my family's name. I am 46 years old, divorce and currently on retirement disability from the federal government. My writing began early in life, without knowledge I could ever write in any professional manner. I love to write and read. I was praised by some teachers and some told me I couldn't write and need more help. I still wrote my feelings and everything down. I created short stories of fantasies that I dreamed of and woke up writing it down. I am a graduate from Lehman College in the Bronx. I currently live in the Bronx.
