His grandmother's restaurant was inside the 1936 Olympic Stadium in the Bavarian Alps and his mother's restaurant, Gretl's, was one of the most famous restaurants in Aspen, Colorado in the sixties and seventies. His book, Feeding Body, Mind and Soul, is the direct result of the very real concepts that he applied to regain his health and become twenty years younger biologically than his chronological age.
