Feeling Free: Supernatural Freedom from Anxiety, Depression, and Other Toxic Emotions (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781807652838)

This book presents a faith-based exploration of emotional healing grounded in Christian theology and biblical interpretation. It examines anxiety, depression, anger, grief, shame, addiction, and other toxic emotions through the lens of Scripture, arguing that emotions were originally designed to be short-term responses to present circumstances. Drawing from biblical narratives, contemporary case studies, and personal counseling experiences, the author outlines how unresolved past trauma, present difficulties, and future worries can multiply and create emotional overload. Central themes include forgiveness, renewal of the mind, spiritual identity, and the belief that Christ restores the original purpose of human emotions. Written for Christian readers seeking spiritual insight into emotional struggles, the book is intended for individuals dealing with long-standing fear, resentment, grief, relational pain, or addictive patterns, as well as pastors, ministry leaders, and faith-based counselors. It integrates theological reflection with illustrative stories of public figures and biblical characters to demonstrate how emotional connections to past events can influence present behavior. The content emphasizes spiritual transformation, reliance on the Holy Spirit, and the practice of focusing on present reality rather than remaining anchored to past hurts or future anxieties. The approach is primarily instructional and devotional, combining scriptural analysis, narrative examples, and applied spiritual principles. Rather than offering a clinical psychological framework, the book presents a theological perspective on emotional health, encouraging readers to understand emotions within the broader context of redemption, grace, and spiritual renewal. It positions emotional freedom as a process rooted in faith, forgiveness, and alignment with biblical teachings.
