His work 'Himalaya ka Mahakumbh' has received the Central Government 'Rahul Sanskrityayan Tourism Award'. Recently the Prime Minister of Uganda honoured him for his outstanding contribution to literature with the 'Uganda Human Excellence Honour'. The Prime Minister of Nepal has presented him the 'Nepal Himal Honour' and the Dubai government has also awarded him for good governance.
