Field Meds: Meditations on the Field: A Disciplined Approach to Christian Meditation (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798385007530)

Field Meds provides you with a beautiful illustration of your inner treasure, found within the confines of your "field" or soul.

Randall Welner observes that as the caretaker of your soul, when you address challenges, you can reap rewards-just as though you were an organic farmer.

The caretaker of the field must cut fallen timber into movable chunks, remove the lumber, and regrade and restore the field's drainage to a viable condition. If this isn't done, the damaged property will cease to be productive.

Just as important as the above, however, is after tending to the field, the caretaker can use downed tree limbs and other debris from the field to build something useful.

While the effort to do all this can be immense, as the caretaker of your soul, you can focus on the areas you want to improve the most.

Engage in the growth available to you, aware of your values and weakness, while benefiting from meditation in and on God's word with the insights in this disciplined approach to Christian meditation.
