Finding Amelia (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781837098378)

Teenage drug-runner, Kelly McFadden already knows that she cannot keep her baby, when she gives birth, on a freezing Christmas Eve, in a backyard, in Clitheroe.

Hiding in the shadows, she watches on, as a couple leave the theatre, before discovering the abandoned newborn and taking her away.

In the days that follow, Kelly scours television and social media, hoping for news of the daughter she'd left behind, but finds none.

Becoming a mother has inspired her, though, awakening an instinct, deep inside; but can she break free from the cycle of poverty and drugs and build a new life, enabling her to track down the child she'd been forced to give away?
