Finding Freedom from the Beast Within (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781501060076)

They loved each other and knew the value of hard work in everything - their jobs, home, and marriage. They also knew the importance of faith in God, faith in their marriage, and faith in each other. Then the time came to put that faith, and what they believed, into action. Finding Freedom from the Beast Within is one couple's story of coming to terms with death. And life. The author lost her husband after a long battle with colon cancer. More than 50,000 people lose their lives to this formidable disease each year and this story is not just about diagnosis, treatments, surgeries, pain and the emotional toll on the family, but also about how faith in God grew stronger as a body grew weaker. The words from a journal kept during the illness are the basis of this legacy, richly and frankly written. The words bring comfort to those dealing with serious illness and facing challenges in their lives.
