Finding My Way Back Home: A Journey Through Healing, Ibogaine, and a Return to Self (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781662974434)

From the outside, Raelyn Miranda appeared to have built a successful life.

She served her country. She built a family. She carried responsibilities that demanded strength, sacrifice, and perseverance.

But beneath the surface, she was fighting battles no one could see.

Years of military service, trauma, anxiety, PTSD, toxic relationships, and emotional exhaustion slowly created a life built around survival rather than healing. Like many who carry invisible wounds, Raelyn became skilled at functioning while quietly losing touch with herself.

Finding My Way Back Home is the deeply personal story of one woman's journey through pain, resilience, and ultimately, transformation.

With remarkable honesty, Raelyn shares her experiences navigating military life, motherhood, trauma, burnout, and the overwhelming responsibility of caring for others while neglecting her own needs. Her story explores the difficult questions many people ask themselves:

- How do you heal from experiences that continue to shape your life?

- How do you move beyond survival and begin truly living?

- How do you find yourself after years of feeling lost?

When traditional approaches left her searching for answers, Raelyn embarked on an unconventional healing journey that included an ibogaine experience in Mexico. Rather than offering easy solutions, she shares the emotional, spiritual, and personal insights that emerged as she confronted her past and began reconnecting with herself.

This powerful memoir speaks to:

- Veterans and military families

- Survivors of trauma and abuse

- Individuals struggling with anxiety and emotional pain

- Women seeking healing and self-discovery

- Readers searching for hope, resilience, and personal transformation

Written with courage, vulnerability, and compassion, Finding My Way Back Home reminds us that healing rarely happens in a straight line. It asks readers to consider that recovery is not about becoming someone entirely new.

It is about returning to the person you were before pain convinced you that you had disappeared.

For anyone who has ever felt lost, broken, exhausted, or alone, this memoir offers something profoundly hopeful:

The way back home is still possible.
