To be sure, life before the "fire from the sky" electromagnetic pulse that fried the power grid was not perfect and it certainly had not gotten any easier or more fair after the lights went out. New challenges and tragedies will continue to emerge and nature will run its course and have its way no matter how brutal or unfair it seems after all that the Sanders have been through.
