He founded Lighthouse Christian Church in Montpelier, Vermont and served as senior pastor for fifteen years. In 2011 he earned a Ph.D in Renewal Studies from Regent University. He served as the Department Head of Biblical Studies for a seminary in Charlotte, N. C. He is married to Patty for 31 years. They currently reside in Rock Hill, S. C.
