She has been heavily influenced by writers like Stan Lee, Jane Austen, Anna Sewell, J.R.R. Tolkien, and countless others. Sadhna drew inspiration for her debut picture book Firehouse 1: Fire at the Bakery from her children, her dad a retired police officer, and her cousin a fire chief.
