Jacqueline Lee Bouvier was born July 28, 1929, in Southampton, Long Island, New York. She enjoyed the country life with her parents and her younger sister Lee. They were married on September 12, 1953. The resolution was agreed to, as follows: "Resolved, that there shall be printed as a Senate document a collection of statements made in tribute to the late First Lady of the United States, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, together with appropriate illustrations and other materials relating to her death."
