Healing has taught us four things: first, we are not the healer, and the gifts of the HolySpirit are not ours. The healing comes from God through Jesus Christ, and the gifts are available to anyone who asks.
Second, God uses the community to heal. Everyone has gifts and they are for the common good. We don't own them, and we are responsible to God and the community for their proper use.
4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; 5 and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. 7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.1 Corinthians 12: 4-7
Fourthly, God leads if we let him. Our job is to be open, to open our will. God will then guide us and direct us, but we must be open to the promptings. God uses His people and the world around us.
