Fixing What's Broken: A Grumpy Single Dad, Small Town, Forced Proximity Romance (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798186850342)

He inherited a hardware store, a house full of memories, and a family he never asked for. She's not letting him sell any of it.Cole Bennett fixes things for a living - million-dollar renovations, high-end builds, problems money can solve. Then his brother dies, and he inherits the one thing he can't fix with a checkbook: a failing hardware store, a house full of ghosts, and a niece and nephew who need someone to show up.

He's got two weeks to liquidate and get back to his real life. That's the plan, anyway - until Millie Shaw, who runs the diner next door and apparently appointed herself mayor of his business, decides his plan is unacceptable.

She's warm where he's walls. She knows everyone's name and half their secrets. And she is not going to let him sell the last hardware store in town - or skip out on two kids who just lost their dad - without a fight. Forced into the same cramped office, the same family dinners, the same impossible situation, Cole starts to wonder if the thing he actually can't fix is how fast he's falling for the one person standing between him and the exit.

• Grumpy city contractor x sunshine small-town sweetheart
• Forced proximity - inherited business, shared space, nowhere to hide
• Instant, ready-made family - a niece and nephew who steal every scene
• Book 1 of 4 - a small-town sibling series with a shared cast and setting
• Warm-to-steamy heat, guaranteed happily ever after

Some things are worth staying and fixing. Cole's about to find out she's one of them.
