About the Book

Thirty years down the line, a chance meeting of old flames in a railway coach rekindles the unfettered attraction. Nevan Sinha, a decent boy in his youth from a lower middle-class background, was besotted by a bubbly girl Nisha Sharma, an affluent progeny. Their endearing bond is woven into a fascinating story of ingenuous exuberance and conspicuous affinity. Laced with basic human emotions, their saga satiates the heart with a kaleidoscope of experiences. Their unexpected encounter on rolling stock brings an intriguing trail of fate that had drifted them apart. Nevan's poignant attachment unravels with a startling disclosure about Nisha, which leaves him dumbfounded. Freshly moistened with flickering possibilities from the heady encounter, he could hardly gather himself before destiny interfered again with another blow of reality. In a deft display of sprightly camaraderie, the author Joy Dasgupta picks up two pious souls who transcend the boundaries of friendship and plunges into the mystic world of romance with untamed senses for togetherness. With gripping warmth and unceasing emotion, the author's nuanced attempt to mirror the touch of destiny in their disjointed lives leaves the reader with immersive anticipation.
