Folktales for Children: Get Back to Your Roots (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798891868410)

'I know a little child who strongly believes in self-identity, culture, and the mountain that she is rooted in; I saw that the first time we met, and she was already telling a story'.

The central idea of the book is to let the readers connect with the roots, ancestors, cultural differences, tradition, social life, and responsibility of the Boh Ramo Bokar Community. It will also introduce you to the ancient version of humans' association with nature, creatures, and superstitious beliefs. It can be a source of motivation, interest, and enjoyment because it has moral elements and hidden stories.

The supernatural characters show that nature has been a great inspiration for the human community and played an important role in shaping their lives. It can give mental visualisation as it has a lot of fantasy, which interests children.

The issues and themes are psychologically thoughtful and important for children, as they display what is wrong, what is right, and the results of both. The book shares hopes and dreams, pains and sorrows that people experience in real life.

Illustrated forms of folktales provide a general impression of the narratives, personae, messages, and eco-centric traits and enhance the imagination of the readers.
