Andrea Rubini-Lund has been passionate about cooking since childhood, when she and her best friend experimented with inventing unusual cake recipes. She credits her late father with passing the cooking gene along to her.
Rubini-Lund was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and later lived in London for a number of years. There she attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School. She is a caterer, a food blogger, and the owner of Andy's Kandys. Since the late 1990s, she's been a resident of Florida. She and her husband, Geir, have two children, Phoebe and Jean-Luc.
