Dr. Dongjie Xue is an associate professor at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). He received his BA at Shandong University of Science in 2007 and Technology, MA and PhD at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) in 2010 and 2013. He served as an associate professor at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) since 2017. Xue also serves as an associated editor-in-chief of International Journal of Coal Science and Technology, young member of editorial board of International Journal of Mining Science and Technology (English and Chinese Edition).Xue has long-term experience with rock mechanics in energy development and mining engineering, including fluid and gas flow in porous and fracture media, fracture behavior of geo-materials and non-continuum mechanics of mining, as well as critical mechanics and cluster mechanics.

Xue received scientific and educational awards including two times of the First Class Prize of the Science and Technology Award by Ministry of Education of China, Second Class Prize of the Science and Technology Award by the People's Government of Henan Province. Xue has authored two books and edited three books and over 70 refereed journal papers.
