Barbara Boustead was born and raised in Rockford, IL and attended George Williams College where she received her Masters degree in Social Work in 1975. She launched Mary's Daughter, a business named after her mother who encouraged and supported Barbara to achieve her goal of starting a business to help seniors and veterans with their finances. Barbara and her husband, Bo currently reside in Madison WI. Their blended family includes their dog, 4 adult children who live in WI, OH, NY, and MN, a daughter in law, son in law and grandson.
