From Other Realms (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781918422603)

Eerie, ghostly tales, exploring the outer edge of horror.

Rhona, traumatised by an event in her past that she struggles to recount or understand, sees lights in the sky. There's a man who says he wants to help, someone from her past, but he's confusing her, controlling her, wanting something, forcing her to recollect the day on the moor when the lights stole her friend ...

George is grieving, mourning the loss of his lover, walking the Ridgway, reliving their trysts, where, amid the ancient tombs and hills of the Vale of the White Horse, Julia's ghost takes many forms. She walks beside him. There's Estelle, his landlady, seductive, accomodating, but she's not as she seems. A love reborn? Or, a lure, a femme fatale, a portent of danger?

Emma wanders amid a fog enshrouded stone circle, beckoned by an ethereal presence within. Grappling over her repressed sexuality, she witnesses her fantasies turn to visceral horror.

Spirits born from loneliness, guilt, hope and yearning, these stories explore the concept of otherworldly presences that manifest from out of the landscape, and why we see them ... or think we do.
