Tijana Matijevic (PhD), born in 1978, teaches post-Yugoslav literature, culture and languages at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Her research focuses on feminist knowledge and the continuities between the Yugoslav and post-Yugoslav literatures.
