With a military career spanning decades, beginning in Washington D.C. at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, a tour in Vietnam followed, as well as multiple tours throughout the U.S., an overseas tour in Bangkok, Thailand; his military career concluded at the National Institutes of Health.
