Ann Hall Marshall: I didn't start writing novels until I was eighty-five years old because I was always busy with many important things. Bob Marshall and I raised ten energetic children, we both earned graduate degrees, we built a six-bedroom home (lots of sweat equity there). Bob (God rest him) was a college professor (Latin); I taught and supervised adult education in Frederick County, MD. My new career as an author has been exciting. I feel as if I m seventy again.
