Byrne Kaulu is an accounting and finance lecturer with experience in banking operations and tax consultancy gained through working for inter alia; Citibank, PricewaterhouseCoopers and University of Lusaka. He is a registered and certified Oxford Brookes University Research and Analysis Project (RAP) mentor, was the 1st Prize winner of the 2016 Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Zambia essay challenge on alternative finance and winner of the 2008/2009 Citibank scholarship for outstanding business school students at Copperbelt University. Byrne has written two other books and various articles. He wrote this book to provide students of Financial Reporting a concise, easy to understand reference for problematic and frequently examined topics on the subject. The material is written with the student in mind using Byrne's experience lecturing students of corporate reporting, financial reporting and introductory financial accounting courses among others.
