Gator Bites (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798240969560)

After surviving the bitter sting of divorce and the relentless grind of a career in an emergency room, Kevin Wittman sought solace in the sun-drenched shores of St. Pete Beach, Florida. He yearned for a quiet reset, a chance to heal under the gentle caress of the coastal breeze and the soothing rhythm of the lapping waves. But instead of the tranquil retirement he envisioned, his new life took an unexpected turn into the realm of the bizarre and dangerous.

His first hint that things were not as they seemed came in the form of a striking blonde. Her beauty was as captivating as the Florida sunset, but it was her unusual companion that truly caught Kevin's attention-an emotional-support alligator, its scales glistening under the tropical sun. This strange encounter was just the beginning.

One peculiar incident led to another, each more bewildering than the last. Kevin found himself ensnared in a fast-paced thriller that was as humorous as it was harrowing. He was thrust into a world where acid attacks were a reality, where barmaids mysteriously vanished, where ex-convicts harbored grudges as deep as the ocean, and where ruthless developers would stop at nothing to claim what they desired.

As danger loomed closer and secrets began to unravel like frayed threads, Kevin had to navigate through a labyrinth of chaos and corruption. Amidst this turmoil, he found himself drawn into an unexpected romance that added another layer of complexity to his already complicated life.

His new existence was infused with quirky humor and coastal charm, making it a sun-soaked Florida thriller with heart. It was a rollercoaster ride of twisty suspense that kept him on his toes, even as it made him laugh at the sheer absurdity of it all.

If you're a fan of Carl Hiaasen or Tim Dorsey, or if you enjoy offbeat mystery adventures that tickle your funny bone as much as they keep you guessing, you'll find yourself drawn into Kevin's story. It's the perfect beach book for those who love a good Florida thriller, one that's as warm as the Florida sun and as unpredictable as the ocean waves.
