Amber Ault, Ph.D. is a sociologist deeply interested in the transformation of educational institutions. She has served as the Director of Diversity in one of the nation's top schools of pharmacy, and has taught in the areas of social justice in health care, the sociology of race and ethnicity, and medical sociology. She has served as an advisor, coach, and mentor to many college and graduate students, and is committed to supporting individuals and institutions in the interactive process of creating more inclusive, interesting, and dynamic learning environments. Kajua Betsy Lor, Pharm.D. is a 2009 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. During her pharmacy education, Kajua completed internships with HealthPartners in Bloomington, MN as part of the AMCP/FMCP/Pfizer Internship Program, and with Walgreens in Oshkosh, WI, as well as a clinical rotation in Thailand. At present, she serves as a pharmaceutical care resident at the University of Minnesota's Eastside Family Clinic in Minneapolis, where she uses her Spanish and Hmong language skills to provide medication therapy management and anti-coagulation services to an under-served, diverse population. She has presented her research on Hmong traditional medicine to pharmacy audiences at national conferences, and hopes to continue to educate healthcare professionals on Hmong herbal medicine, culture and health beliefs.
