Girl with a Hook, aka Heather Lightbody, has been creating freeform crochet hats and accessories since 2002. She doesn't use patterns or take any notes, which makes each item a one of a kind piece of wearable art. All of the yarn used for her creations are all hand washed, dyed, and spun by Heather. She grew up in the St. Louis and Chicago where city life had a big influence on her art. She now lives in Oregon in the Pacific Northwest where the intense beauty of the nature has been very inspiring.
