Given Up On Purpose: How God Uses Rejection, Abandonment, and Pain to Reveal Destiny (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798245177274)

By Aljenon D. L. Cooper

What if the worst thing that ever happened to you was actually the doorway to your destiny?

In Given Up on Purpose, Pastor Aljenon D. L. Cooper invites readers on a deeply personal, spiritually rich, and emotionally honest journey through pain, rejection, abandonment, and betrayal-revealing how God uses the very things meant to break us to build us.

Adopted at birth and marked early by questions of identity, worth, and belonging, Cooper wrestles with the silent wounds of being "given up." But through Scripture, revelation, and lived experience, he uncovers a life-changing truth: some things don't happen to you-they happen for you.

Weaving together powerful biblical narratives (including the stories of Joseph, Moses, and Peter) with his own transparent testimony, Cooper shows how:

• Betrayal can be a bridge to purpose

• Rejection can become redirection

• Pain can be a tool in the hands of a purposeful God

• And what feels like loss may actually be divine alignment

With pastoral warmth, prophetic insight, and practical wisdom, Given Up on Purpose speaks to anyone who has ever felt unwanted, overlooked, abandoned, or misunderstood-and helps them discover that God never wastes wounds.

This book is not just a story. It's a mirror.
It's not just encouragement. It's a call to healing.
It's not just about being given up. It's about being chosen on purpose.

If you've ever asked, "Why did this happen to me?" - this book will help you discover heaven's answer.
