His research covers globalization, governing global affairs, civil society in global politics, global democracy, legitimacy in global governance, and Internet governance. Previously, he co-edited volumes in the Routledge Global Cooperation Series on Power and Authority in Internet Governance: A Return of the State? (with Blayne Haggart and Natasha Tusikov) and Hegemony and World Order: Reimagining Power in Global Politics (with Piotr Dutkiewicz and Tom Casier).
