Jiseun Sohn, PhD is Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Southern University and A&M College in Louisiana, USA. Her scholarship explores psychopathology and violent crime, with particular attention to psychopathic traits, homicide dynamics, sexual violence, and evidence-based policing strategies. Dr. Sohn's recent peer-reviewed work has appeared in leading academic journals, including Feminist Criminology, Deviant Behavior, Policing: An International Journal, Journal of Forensic Psychology Research and Practice, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Aggressive Behavior, and the International Journal of Criminal Justice. She is an active contributor to the field, serving on the assessment committee of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) (2025-2026) and as program chair for the Korean Society of Criminology in America (KOSCA) (2023-2025).
